| Juvenile probation office welcomes new deputies |

NEVADA - On September 4, two new Lyon County Juvenile Probation Officers, Brian Kirkley and Justin Aguilar, were sworn in by Third Judicial District Court Judge Robert Estes as Deputy Juvenile Probation Officers. Kirkley, who will be working in the Dayton area, is originally from Montana. After he was graduated from The University of Montana, Missoula, with a degree in sociology, he worked for the Montana Youth Challenge Program, a program for at-risk kids sponsored through the National Guard. He, his wife Liz and their two sons, Mikey, who is in kindergarten, and 17-month-old Josh, moved to the Fernley area when his wife was offered a position as a second grade teacher at Cottonwood Elementary school.
