WISCONSIN - County Executive Scott Walker's newest proposed budget includes a new man in charge of the House of Corrections. Sheriff David Clarke would run that and the Work Release center on 10th and State in Downtown Milwaukee. That's part of what Walker has in his plans, along with making the center part of the jail system. Walker told the Journal Sentinel that it wouldn't save taxpayers this year, but perhaps in future years by cutting some jobs within management of the combined system. Read more.
