| Inmates contribute to fire victims |

TENNESSEE - Prison inmates have given $1,200 to help support children who survived a Memphis house fire that killed a woman and six other children. The Commercial Appeal reported the donation was made Sunday at Greater Hope Baptist Church through Second Chance Prison Ministries. Inmates of the West Tennessee State Penitentiary gave money they earned through prison jobs that pay between 50 cents and $2 per day.
