| County to get juvenile drug court |

INDIANA - The Porter County Juvenile and Family Drug Court begins its first session Oct. 8, as the third active juvenile drug court in the state. It's an opportunity for those in the Porter County juvenile system to have the same substance abuse alternative as adults. Seven juveniles and their families have qualified for the program, which will oversee juvenile court cases where drugs or alcohol were a factor. The families then go into an intensive program.
