PENNSYLVANIA - Family, friends and crime victims who want to keep tabs on inmates in Northampton County Prison now can do so online. Northampton County's corrections department rolled out a new Web site Tuesday that allows the public to find out if a person is still in the county jail. Visitors to the site need only enter the person's name.

Law enforcement will have the added ability to access a photo of the inmate, the criminal charges and fingerprints, said Corrections Director Todd Buskirk. Police departments must register with the county for access and will be issued a password good for one year, Buskirk said. Read more.
