| Inmates helping with Christmas Corner |

TEXAS - Gregg County commissioners are sending jail inmates to the Maude Cobb Convention and Activity Center this weekend to help set up and tear down the annual Christmas Corner event. Commissioners approved a request Monday for inmate help from Ovation!, the Longview Symphony's guild, which puts on the holiday market. The inmates are expected to prepare for the event on Wednesday and clean the center on Sunday. Gregg County Judge Bill Stoudt said inmates have helped set up and clean up for the event in the past.
