| Firm in vote fraud used inmates |

NEVADA - Nevada officials are investigating the use of prison inmates by an organization facing allegations of voter registration fraud. Prisons director Howard Skolnik told the prison board Tuesday that 59 inmates were supplied by Choices Group Inc. to the Association of Community Organizations for Reform Now, which said it has registered more than 80,000 voters in Clark County since February. Investigators Monday seized computer data and documents from ACORN. State law forbids an inmate from doing work or training to "acquire, review, use or have control over or access to personal information concerning any person who is not incarcerated." Skolnik said his agency is looking into violations, including possible identity theft by the work-release participants while collecting information for ACORN. Read more.
