| Bomb threat spurs evacuation |

NEW JERSEY - Officers discovered an anonymous note yesterday warning that an explosive device was hidden in the state's maximum-security prison in Trenton, prompting an evacuation of dozens of inmates so a housing wing could be searched, officials said. The note, believed to have been written by an inmate, warned that an explosive device was hidden in a specific living area within New Jersey State Prison, said Corrections Department spokesman Matt Schuman. "They got the prisoners out of the area," Schuman said. "They're going through the area to see if they can find anything. Whether it's credible or not, who knows?
