NORTH CAROLINA - The first military prison-trained service dog will be presented to its owner, a wounded Camp Lejeune Marine. Cpl. Chris Gray was scheduled to take full custody of Rocio (pronounced rocksy), an 18-month-old Lab mix, Friday at a ceremony at the Camp Lejeune brig. Rocio has been trained by inmates and Carolina Canines instructors since January. She can perform 70 tasks, including opening doors, carrying items and pulling wheelchairs. Read more.
