An inmate at a California prison is suing Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger over claims the state's governor ignored his pleas to be transferred to another jail for the sake of his health. In a lawsuit filed in Los Angeles Superior Court, convict Terry Alexander alleges he has developed "valley fever", a fungal infection common in desert regions, because of the location of Wasco State Prison where he is currently behind bars. Terry claims he has filled out 1,284 medical forms and asked to be relocated to another penitentiary - but his concerns have gone unanswered by the actor-turned-politician. And he insists he is now confined to a "wheelchair for life" because of the governor's neglect. Terry is suing Schwarzenegger for $100,000 according to TMZ.com. |
