| Sexual offender registry partners with mapping service |

WISCONSIN - Wisconsin's sexual offender registry will partner with an Internet mapping service in the weeks ahead to help parents prepare for a safe Halloween. State Corrections Secretary Rick Raemisch announced the new search option during a Monday press conference at the Outagamie County Administration Building. The registry site will temporarily link to the Family Watchdog Web site, which plots sex offender homes on maps that are searchable by address. Wisconsin's registry link to the site will be taken down after Halloween, though state officials are working on providing a long-term mapping option, he said. Read more.
