CANADA - It was a simple email that changed policy within the Corrections Ministry. After the August escape of six men from the Regina Correctional Centre Darryl Hickie ordered that he and the public be notified of any escape. That didn't happen when an inmate was mistakenly released from a Regina courthouse last week. But the policy was only sent via electronic mail. Read more.
