| Court asked to restore voter registrations |

OHIO - The battle over whether Mohican Juvenile Correctional Facility inmates should vote in Ashland County is headed to federal court. A prisoner advocacy group has filed a complaint in U.S. District Court to restore voter registrations for 16 MoJCF residents. A hearing on the complaint has been scheduled for 8 a.m. Friday before Judge Donald C. Nugent. The Cincinnati-based Ohio Justice & Policy Center filed a complaint Monday asking the court to restore voter registrations for the inmates and allow them to cast absentee ballots in the county.
