IRAN - Culture and Islamic Guidance Ministry will donate some 30,000 volumes of novels and story books to prisons nationwide during the Book Week slated for November 11-19. According to a report released Tuesday by the Information Dissemination Headquarters for the 16th Book Week, the donation was made because of a longstanding need for books in prisons. A list of novels and story book has been released and categorized, he said, adding that the books will be made available on the basis of the number of prisons as well as their needs.
