ENGLAND - The number of mobile phones being smuggled into Altcourse prison in Liverpool is rising, according to a new report. The Fazakerley jail was singled out for its “lack of progress” installing a deviator which would bar telephones from working on the site. Bosses at the Independent Monitoring Board (IMB), who inspect prisons, said drug activity had increased as a result.
