| Prison still in lockdown |

WISCONSIN - Fox Lake prison remained locked down Thursday following the attack Monday on two corrections officers by a convicted murderer wielding a claw hammer. State Department of Corrections spokesman John Dipko said the injured officer who was transferred to a Madison hospital after the attack has been treated and released. The other guard was transported to Waupun Memorial Hospital, where he was treated and released Monday. Corrections officials say 50-year-old Terrance Davis attacked the guards about 8:15 a.m. Monday in the furniture shop at Fox Lake Correctional Institution. Davis had been serving time at the medium-security facility for the 1985 shooting deaths of Milwaukee Police Officers Rosario Collura and Leonard Lesnieski after they walked into a drug deal, according to court records.
