OHIO - Corrections officer, father and student, Cory Blankenship, 35, doesn't have a lot of down time, but he prefers it that way, he said. The Elgin High School graduate works at Marion Correctional Institution and in-between achieving those life marks, he graduated from Hocking College and worked as a personal trainer at the Athletic Club downtown. There he met deputies and corrections officers. "One thing lead to another," he said, and now he is activity therapy administrator at the prison. Read more.
