| COs testify in murder trial |

NEW HAMPSHIRE - Three Massachusetts correctional officers testified Wednesday that Michael Addison was a problem inmate who did not seem to care about rules and regulations while behind bars in the Bay State nearly a decade ago. Addison has been convicted of murdering Manchester police Officer Michael Briggs two years ago. The testimony came as the jury considers whether to sentence Addison to die. The officers from two Massachusetts prisons testified that Addison refused to go back to into the general population after serving time in isolation for fighting with another inmate, was considered a program failure and part of a hardcore group more prone to get in trouble.
