| 14 graduates become COs |

KENTUCKY - Fourteen men and women were sworn in as peace officers today during a graduation ceremony for Louisville Metro Department of Corrections. Mayor Jerry Abramson addressed the graduates, administered the oath of office and helped in handing out diplomas. Corrections Director Mark Bolton also spoke. All correctional officers must complete a nine-week training academy. Louisvilleās training academy is only one of two in the country accredited by the American Correctional Association. Read more. |
