MISSOURI - The Missouri Department of Corrections will hold a ribbon cutting Monday for a new community supervision center in Poplar Bluff. The center is expected to take in offenders beginning next week. The center will provide transitional help for offenders, allowing them to work, attend school or undergo treatment. The center in Poplar Bluff will include dorm-style housing for about 60 people on probation or parole who need supervision. It will also have administrative space and classroom areas. |
