Ohio inmates accused of dog abuse |

It's the first reported case of abuse of a dog in the 10 years of the training program. Two prisoners at the Ross Correctional Institution in Chillicothe, Ohio, are being investigated for abusing a training dog at the prison. The "Columbus Dispatch" reports the two inmates are accused of sexually assaulting a three year old Labrador Retriever, which was part of a program where inmates train the dogs for use by people with special needs. It's the first reported case of abuse of a dog in the decade old program, which is being conducted in a number of the state's prisons. The dog is now under the care of a veterinarian. |
