| Lawmakers may extend early release |

WASHINGTON - The state policy that allows prison inmates half of their time off for good behavior is set to expire in 2010. With Washington facing a budget deficit, the Tacoma News Tribune reports lawmakers are looking at extending the policy to save money. Two senators, Jim Hargrove of Hoquiam and Adam Kline of Seattle, says they'll introduce a bill to extend the good time policy indefinitely.
