Two North Carolina prison escapees, spotted in Bristol, are now behind bars. Bristol, Tennessee police arrested one escaped convict Tuesday, but the second fugitive fled the area. Police say both of the men had been staying with a resident in Bristol since last Sunday. Last Wednesday, police spotted them on Volunteer Parkway. After a brief chase, Mike Turner surrendered to police in a local apartment complex. Residents there say it was quite a scene as police tried to track down the second man. The second fugitive, Brian Davis, was arrested last Wednesday afternoon in Greensboro, North Carolina. |
