| Fired CO gets job back |

MARYLAND - A fired correctional officer from the North Branch Correctional Facility will get his job back. A judge reinstated the lieutenant on Wednesday due to a lack of evidence. The lieutenant was one of eight from the facility and 25 statewide that were fired amid an investigation on allegations of excessive force. A representative from the Maryland Classified Employees Association says the lieutenant has been reinstated with full back pay and benefits. Read more.
