Kiss cost CO job

PENNSYLVANIA - Former Northumberland County Prison corrections officer Gregg Cupp said he “got caught up” in a flirtatious relationship with a female inmate that escalated to his giving her favors, including money. It cost him a job and now fears he’ll be charged with a crime.

Cupp, 59, of Northumberland, and corrections officer Brandon Fraim, of Shamokin, resigned Wednesday amid allegations they had sexual contact with female prisoners at the North Second Street jail. The claims are being investigated by District Attorney Anthony Rosini, who did not return a call to The Daily Item Thursday. Read more.
