| Sheriff promotes several officers |

OHIO - Warren County Sheriff Larry Sims will promote several officers when he takes office on Monday, Jan. 5. Those promoted are:
Lt. Barry Riley will be promoted to the captain. Riley has been with the office since 1995 when he started as a corrections officer. After attending the police academy, he was sworn in as a deputy sheriff in 1996. Cpt. George Hunter will be promoted to the major. Hunter will become the operations division commander. In his new position, he will be in charge of uniform patrol, criminal investigations, and court services. Hunter began his law enforcement career with the sheriff's office in 1987.
