| Sheriff honors award winning officers |

MARYLAND - Sheriff Timothy K. Cameron takes great pleasure in recognizing the following officers as Officer of the Quarter for the Third Quarter of 2008: Corporal Brian J. Connelly, Corporal Todd L. Fleenor and Correctional Officer Sergeant Donna L. Rustin. During this quarter Cpl. Connelly was tasked with finding suspect information for the numerous breaking and entering to motor vehicles, burglaries and thefts that had been occurring in District 2. He, along with the assistance of other officers, developed a suspect that had been tied to crimes in both Sandgates and the 7th District. Later, another suspect was developed who had been tied to numerous crimes in both Leonardtown and the 7th District. It was his leadership and contacts he developed in the community that greatly assisted in these investigations. Cpl. Connelly is a dedicated, enthusiastic officer that never complains about an assignment and volunteers to take on additional responsibilities.
