COLORADO - The Colorado Department of Corrections headquarters, isn't going anywhere. After months of controversy and litigation, Governor Bill Ritter cancelled the move to a new facility in Colorado Springs, over budget concerns. The new building, which is already under construction, will be occupied by other tenants. For now, the DOC will seek an extension on their current building lease, which expires in 2010. |
