| A strong law enforcement effort |

WISCONSIN - Six days after the Fond du Lac Police Department revealed that it cracked a 32-year-old cold case, local police met with county law enforcement personnel to celebrate other recent successes. Members of the Fond du Lac County Law Enforcement Executive Association gathered Wednesday at Knights of Columbus, 795 Fond du Lac Ave., to recognize the efforts of officers and citizens and to introduce the association's new president. Fond du Lac County Sheriff's Department Capt. Dean Will said his role as president will be organizing meetings for authorities to share information and to discuss techniques used to protect the community. "It is a very unique group because we bring together law enforcement, the Department of Corrections, probation officers, Department of Natural Resources and the district attorney (Dan Kaminsky)," Will said.
