Roberts, 18, wanted for breaking and entering, larceny and theft * David L. Johnson, Jr. 23, wanted for felony theft All three escapees were taken into custody without incident and are being held at the Pulaski County Jail. Arkansas State Police believe the truck the inmates were using and a gun found in the truck were stolen. Troopers are working with Mississippi law enforcement authorities to determine where the thefts may have occurred. The eight inmates got out under a concrete wall during the early morning hours. One of them was caught in Mississippi by mid-morning. Most of the escapees have a history of violent crimes. All were last seen in their orange prison jumpsuits, but authorities say they have had ample time to change out of them by now. The prison remains on lockdown following the escape. Read more.
