On February 23, 2009 the State Department of Mental Health (DMH) withdrew its proposed placement of Sexually Violent Predator (SVP) Matthew Hedge, age 45, at 3337 Highway 67, Ramona, CA. There is no new location proposed for placement at this time. The previously-scheduled court hearing on March 13, 2009, at 1:30 p.m. will be a status hearing on the Department of Mental Health’s progress in finding an appropriate alternate proposed location for Hedge’s placement. Once a new location has been proposed, the public will be notified and will have an opportunity to provide comments about the proposed placement recommendation prior to it being approved by the Court.
