Medina County , OH - Patrick Provoznik, 47, of Wellington, passed away Monday, Feb. 23, 2009, at the Cleveland Clinic following a battle with cancer. Patrick was born May 7, 1961, in Oberlin to Clarence and Betty Provoznik. He graduated in 1979 from Keystone High School. He worked as a corrections officer at Grafton Correctional Facility. Patrick was an avid outdoorsman and enjoyed fishing and hunting. He also loved bowling and his motorcycle. He is survived by his loving wife, Jeanetta; children, Ben and Cassie Provoznik, both of Wellington; stepchildren, Ken Brewer of Medina and Ashley (Victor Watts) Brewer of Toledo; granddaughter, Kyliana Brewer; father, Clarence Provoznik of Shreve; mother and stepfather, Betty and Ron Kreiling of Jeromesville; brothers, Kenneth (Maria) Provoznik of Wellington, Andrew Provoznik of Oberlin and Daniel (Shirley) Provoznik of Wellington; sisters, Sandy Provoznik of Elyria, Cora (Phil) Gilbert of Wellington, Tina (Ivan) Roberts of Wellington and Elaine (Chris) Colvin of Norwalk; and several nieces and nephews. Service: 7 p.m. Thursday at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Rich Henry will officiate. Visiting hours: 1 to 3 and 5 to 7 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
