BURLINGTON, Vt. (AP) - A man whose sentence for sexually assaulting a young girl led to a debate about the treatment and sentencing of sex offenders remains in custody three months past his release date. The Burlington Free Press says 38-year-old Mark Hulett of Williston was due to be released in January after he served a minimum three years for sexually assaulting a young girl between 2001 and 2005.
