COLUMBIA, S.C., April 15 (UPI) -- A South Carolina man is to be executed May 8 for killing two men, including an Orangeburg police officer. Barring intervention,Thomas Treshan Ivey, 34, will be put to death at 6 p.m. on that day at the state's Broad River Correctional Institution in Columbia, The (Charleston) Post and Courier reported Tuesday. However, how he will be killed -- by lethal injection or electrocution -- is a decision Ivey has yet to make, the newspaper said. Read more.
