Inmate Walks Away from Work-Release

KENOSHA - Investigators are searching for a Kenosha Correctional Center inmate who walked away from a work-release site early Thursday.

"The inmate was working the third shift and was last seen by his supervisor at about 5:35," said Wisconsin Department of Corrections spokesman John Dipko. "His supervisor noticed he was not in his assigned spot and commenced a search for him."

"After a thorough search, the Corrections Department was notified, and we contacted local law enforcement."
