Mark Kemball has a job few would envy, but that doesn't dampen his enthusiasm or dedication for the responsibility that he has been tasked with. Kemball is the new warden at Agassiz Mountain Prison, and even though he has only been on the job a short while, he brings decades of Corrections Canada experience to the job. The position became available when the former warden took on the assistant deputy commissioner's job at regional headquarters. Kemball was deputy warden at Mountain before the promotion, but he started out as a Corrections officer at Matsqui Institution. After some time at Matsqui he transferred to Elbow Lake, worked at the regional headquarters in the Lower Mainland and spent five years in Edmonton with the National Parole Board, where he was the regional manager of conditional release programs.
