Coroner: Death of juvenile corrections officer here a 'homicide' Posted By: Kim Wendel HIGHLAND HILLS -- Cuyahoga County Coroner Dr. Frank Miller has now ruled the April 29 death of Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correction Center officer William L. Hesson a "homicide." Miller states that the cause of death was "a sudden distrurbance of the heart rhythm due to blunt impact to the ...abdomen." Hesson, 39, of North Canton, died at South Pointe Hospital in Warrensville Heights after being brought there from the Cuyahoga Hills Juvenile Correction Center in Highland Hills. Hesson was on duty at the facility at the time of the attack. Hesson's death was investigated by Ohio State Highway Patrol investigators and toxicology tests were taken. Hesson lived with his wife, Julia, who is expecting a son in September. Hesson also had an 18-month-old son and two daughters. Read more.
