By Michelle McNiel World staff writer WENATCHEE — A Wenatchee man in jail on a second-degree assault charge after his girlfriend was attacked has been charged with threatening to kill a corrections officer. Maurice R. Young, 33, was charged May 21 with felony harassment, third-degree assault and second-degree malicious mischief. According to Chelan County Superior Court documents, on May 5 Young refused to clean gang graffiti that he was suspected of writing on the walls of a cell holding several inmates at the Chelan County Regional Justice Center.
