CBP Officers Seize More than $1.8 Million in Cocaine in Roma Roma, Texas - U.S. Customs and Border Protection officers at the Roma International Bridge discovered over $1.8 million in cocaine concealed within a Chevrolet Astra; two females were arrested. On Tuesday, May 26, shortly after 8 a.m. at the Roma International Bridge, CBP officers referred a grey 2002 Chevrolet Astra driven by Marie Teresa Barrera, a 51-year-old U.S. citizen and resident of Miguel Aleman, Tamaulipas, Mexico for a secondary inspection. Passengers in the vehicle with Barrera were Maria Del Refugio Galindo Sanchez, age 38, Mexican citizen and her minor child.
