ST. JOHN’S, Newfoundland — Maine fisherman and author Linda Greenlaw has been convicted on charges of illegally fishing in Canadian waters. The verdict against Greenlaw was delivered May 30 in provincial court in St. John’s by Judge Joseph Woodrow. She’ll be sentenced June 9. Greenlaw, who’s 48, was arrested last September when her vessel, Sea Hawk, crossed Canada’s 200-mile limit and was boarded by fisheries officers.
