Rapper DMX, whose real name is Earl Simmons, is expected to be back in court Monday for allegedly throwing a food tray at a corrections officer. He is scheduled for a sentencing hearing in Maricopa County Superior Court. The Maricop County Sheriff's Department claims Simmons was told he could not have a meal serving tray and then threw it at the officer. He pleaded guilty in May to one count of attempted aggravated assault. At the time of the incident, the rapper was serving a 90-day sentence after pleading guilty to felony charges of theft, drug possession and a misdemeanor charge of animal cruelty on December 30.
