Johnson County Jail Inmate Hangs Himself A man who was to be sentenced today for a sex act with a child hanged himself in a Johnson County jail this morning, police announced today. Darrell Morrison, 39, of Kansas City, Kan., was found hanging about 6:45 a.m. in his cell at the New Century Adult Detention Center, they said.Read more.
