A spokesperson for the Ohio Department of Rehabilitation and Correction says an inmate walked away from the Pickaway Correctional Institution in Orient last week. Andrea Dean says Kevin L. Downing was last seen working in the prison's dairy barn.
Downing is serving three and a half years for breaking and entering, theft, burglary, and endangering. He has been incarcerated since November 5, 2002.
