Joseph Jackson was later apprehended Thursday afternoon during a routine traffic stop in Nashville and was taken to Davidson Criminal Justice Center in Nashville. A news release from the Mississippi Department of Corrections said Jackson was helped to escape by two other men Thursday. One of the men entered the office, fired a gun into the air and took a weapon from a corrections officer who was guarding Jackson. Read more.
