Dorchester County (WLTX) -- S.C. Department of Corrections officials say they discovered a hole in the floor of an industrial site at a Level 3 prison on Tuesday in which inmates were attempting to dig out. Department spokesman Josh Gelinas says the digging was found inside the Lieber Correctional Institution in Ridgeville. Gelinas says the hole was being covered by machinery inside the facility.
