Police in Vegas arrest 2 Georgia prison fugitives The Associated Press 7/08/2009 LAS VEGAS—Police in Las Vegas say they've arrested two fugitives from a Georgia prison. Lt. Ted Lee says 32-year-old Herman Freeman and 33-year-old Gregory Walker were arrested Tuesday after detectives found a stolen 1991 Mazda Miata with Georgia license plates and saw them walking near a low-budget Las Vegas Boulevard hotel. Lee says Walker surrendered, but Freeman tried to run before he was apprehended by officers using a Taser device. Read More. |
