Federal prison jobs increase in W.Va. The Associated Press CHARLESTON, W.Va. (AP) - West Virginia's unemployment rate has risen for several months but at least one sector is still looking for new workers. Rod Myers with the U.S. Bureau of Prisons says the agency has hired 49 employees at the federal prison in Hazelton this year. As of Friday, the Preston County prison had 15 vacancies. Read More. |
