Ex-inmate arrested over trip near Indiana escape Associated Press July 16, 2009 MICHIGAN CITY, Ind. - Authorities say a convicted murderer released two months ago from the Indiana State Prison admits visiting a nearby casino the day before three inmates he knew escaped from the maximum-security prison. Paul Komyatti Jr. was arrested on parole violation charges after investigators questioned him about Sunday's escape. He is accused of unauthorized travel for going from his Indianapolis home to the Indiana Dunes State Park and Blue Chip Casino in Michigan City on Friday and Saturday. Read More. |
