Third prison escapee caught in Indianapolis Posted: July 23, 2009 Mark Booher Indianapolis - Authorities say the last of three escapees from the Indiana State Prison has been caught in Indianapolis. Mark Booher, 46, is in police custody. Eyewitness News has confirmed that he was captured at the Inn Town Suites at 86th and Michigan Road on the city's north side. Indiana State Police searched an area in Orange County for Booher Wednesday. He escaped from the Indiana State Prison in Michigan City more than one week ago through the prison's underground tunnel system. Booher, 46, was serving time for the 1999 murder of an Indianapolis man. He is originally from New Castle. Read More. |
