| Murder Charges Temporarily Dropped |

Murder charges have been temporarily dropped for a Columbus man charged in a 2003 murder. 46 year old Undray Knighten was charged with strangling Pamela Mckee to death in the home they shared on Gladstone Ave. Bartholomew County Prosecutor Bill Nash says since then, Knighten has filed several motions to delay the trial. Some of the delays have been because of Knighten's battle with colon cancer. Nash said now his office has filed a dimissal without prejudice. That motion stops the clock on the one year time frame for beginning trial after charging a suspect. Nash said his office and the victim's family were not confident going to trial without a key witness. Read More. |
